Overview
The LimeChat automated assistant helps customers in several ways, including showcasing product links and generating checkout links. These links can be customized for each brand.

Current Scenario
At the moment, all checkout links will appear as shop.limechat.ai/{variable_string}
For different checkouts, only the variable string will change, but all customers will see [shop.limechat.ai](<http://shop.limechat.ai>) in the link.
Optimal Scenario
You will prefer that the links come in the following manner shop.{yourdomain.com}/{variable_string}
Each checkout link will come with your custom domain branding making it easier for the customer to trust the link and associate it with your brand.
Steps to Enable Branded Links
To enable custom links with your brand name, we need your team to perform the following steps.
Step 1: Go to your domain registrar, sign in, and locate the domain DNS Manage section.
Step 2: Create a new type CNAME record with the name - shop (no quotes) and value - cname.short.io (no quotes). Step 3: Save your changes. You will see a new record:
shop CNAME[cname.short.io](<http://cname.short.io/>)
Done! Now wait for the server’s updates; it might take 1-2 hours. Short.io will notify you by email.

For the above-mentioned functionality, we require Deep Links, and typically, services like Short.io will cost $50/month for their Team Plan. (LimeChat supports Short.io, which is the most reliable and cheapest solution on the market)
LimeChat has a partnership with Short.io and can provide the same service at $39/month
This will be added to your monthly LimeChat bill in case you want to opt into this service.
