Filters: Refining the audience

Filters are used to refine the audience for whom the flow should execute. For example, if you want an order confirmation message to be sent only to those who have purchased something of cart value > 5000, you can do so using filters.

To add filters, click on the Select Audience button.

Once you do that, you will find an option to add two kinds of filters. They are described below.

Types of filters:

  1. Based on Customer’s Actions:

These are based on what actions customer has performed either in the past or since the flow has started.

For example, you can add a filter to start the flow only for those customers who have never purchased anything from the brand in the past.

  2. Based on Customer’s Attributes:

These are based on the information about the customer contained in that event that has led to the start of the flow.

For example, you can add a filter to start the flow only for those customers for whom the total purchase value was greater than Rs1000
