Testing a flow

Once the flow is ready and all the edits are complete you can test your flow before actually setting it live for your customers

There are two ways to test your flow -

1. Test Mode Numbers

2. Visualise

Test Mode Numbers

Using test mode numbers you can set your flow live only for a certain set of test phone numbers. Here the flow is enabled but only for the provided set of test mode numbers.

For Example - If you add numbers X,Y and Z to test mode numbers for an order confirmation flow, the flow will be triggered only when an actual order is placed via any of these given phone numbers.

To set up test mode numbers, first Click on the test mode number icon.

Then add the desired test phone numbers, click on Add numbers and turn on the switch shown below.

Once added, the flow will run only for those customers whose phone numbers have been added here.

Visualise

Using Visualise option you can test the flow on your WhatsApp number before actually enabling the flow. No real event like placing or cancelling an order take place in visualise. It’s just a live demo of how the flow works like on your WhatsApp number.

To Visualise a flow, click on the visualise button

Enter the WhatsApp number (with country code) to check the flow on, and hit the send button.

This will pick the latest event that has occurred of the type which has been used in the flow as trigger event & start the flow using that.
